I've been practicing cartoon drawing lately, in order to prepare myself for the creation of a miniature traditionally animated production. There's a few characters I've been drawing repeatedly, so I thought it would be fun to take a couple of those and put them together in a story, so I can practice drawing within some context.

This is Marcel.

This is Treezon.

Marcel discovers a strange rap CD jewel case-shaped fruit in his basket while out picking. While gazing at the strange fruit, he hears a bellyaching shout that seems to be directed at him.

"Who said that...?" Treezon abruptly enters the scene. "The name's Treezon, bitch, and dis here's my neck of da woods!"

Marcel, being a quiet, outdoorsy kind of sloth, is intimidated by Treezon's brash urban demeanor. "Ah.. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to tresspass I'll just be on my way...."

"HAhaha... tresspassin'??" Treezon bends back laughing (I'm not too fond of that part of the drawing...) He enjoys screwing with others that feel uncomfortable in his presence. "Man, you one funny cat!"
That's all I got for now. I have no idea where it's going, I just like that it allows me to attempt drawing expressions within the context of actual chracter interaction. To possible be continued....
Also, I traced one of the drawings and colored it in with crayons. Just for fun.
